Larry Jordan: So, what's AJA doing on the HDR front?

Bryce Button: It's been a fantastic ride that we're still going with. We've been doing it seriously for a year and a half or so in terms of what's in the market. We have it with our editing products. You can play it out on the HDMI and your desktop software will actually allow you to capture it. We joined together with Colorfront and we've gone into the broadcast space of a box called the FS-HDR that actually brings in camera log source inputs, even your standard definitionÔøΩ because obviously folks are going to need to take a whole wealth of archive materials and bring that up into HDRÔøΩ and so that does it all in real time.

And for this show, we've introduced a new 2.5 firmware which offers a bunch of really interesting things for free. One is the HLG LUTs from BBC.

So, this is a big deal. When BBC as a state broadcaster looked at this, they've got a mandate that folks having all the sets aren't forced to upgrade. So, it gives you the ability to effectively serve the standard television set today as well as folks that invest in an HDR set.

LJ: Well, AJA is known for very exciting products and they're known for conversions from anything to anything.
