Larry Jordan: Welcome back. We've got a guest we've had many times before and I'm looking forward to chatting with him again. His name is David Friend. He's the CEO of Wasabi. And David, it's always good to see you. Welcome back.

David Friend: Thanks. Nice to be here.

Larry Jordan: I have always had curiosity at what Wasabi does and I ask you this every year, and I managed to forget it from one show to the next. How would you describe what Wasabi does?

David Friend: It's pretty simple, Wasabi is cloud storage. Our product is designed to be identical to Amazon S3 cloud storage except it's about one fifth the price, and up to about six times faster, and there are no egress fees.

Larry Jordan: But should we make decisions in the cloud solely based on price?

David Friend: Well, if it's 80% cheaper, a lot of things that just don't make economic sense. At $23 a terabyte per month can make a lot of sense at $6 terabyte per month. So I would say that if you talk to the people who are signing up with Wasabi, and we have about over 6000 customers today and we're adding a petabyte of storage every couple of daysÔøΩ

Larry Jordan: Oh my goodness.

David Friend: I would say that 90% of those people are with us because of price.
