Fredrik Limsater of ftrack | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2019 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: Our next guest is the CEO of a new company. Well, a new-ish company. Well, actually, they’re becoming less new every day. He’s the CEO of ftrack. His name is Fredrick Limsater and, Fredrick, thanks for joining us today.
Fredrik Limsater: Thank you very much, Larry. Pleasure to be here.
Larry Jordan: I will confess that I had not heard about ftrack until you released your new review package and I discovered you at that point. And so you have other software out, but especially for me, tell me what ftrack does.
Fredrik Limsater: So ftrack is a collaboration platform for the creative industry. So we do product management, production tracking, and media reviews all only one platform. We serve many different industries — entertainment, media and entertainment, product design, broadcast, episodic TV and so on.
Larry Jordan: What got you interested in this in the first place?
Fredrik Limsater: So my background is from the film industry, but before that, I was an engineer. I love to improve processes and work and I could see the need.
