Gary Baker of Cinamaker | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: Tell us what’s going on here at the booth. Tell me about the equipment that you’re using. Tell us about the software. People can’t necessarily see it, but describe how the pictures are being recorded and how you’re putting a show together.
Gary Baker: We actually have 4 cameras here which, as you mentioned, nobody is able to see but you can see the result of it, and 3 of them are iPhones and one of them is a Panasonic professional video camera.
LJ: The iPhone is by the way getting the close ups and the Panasonic’s got a wide two shot coverage in the center.
GB: That’s right. And sitting on the other side of the camera that’s directly in front of me is Tony, who’s switching using an iPad. And he’s actually selecting shots by touching the screens on the iPad and has graphics controls, has full audio controls and mixing controls, and he’s able to ultimately present a live stream with multiple cameras being switched live.
