Larry Jordan: Welcome back. It's the fourth day of NAB. My name is Larry Jordan. Sitting next to me is Ian McDonough. He is the CEO of Blackbird. Hello, Ian. Welcome.

Ian McDonough: Hello, Larry.

Larry Jordan: Give us a clue. What does Blackbird do?

Ian McDonough: We allow our customers to create video in the cloud. We're a cloud-based, a natively cloud based editor.

Larry Jordan: Those two are contradictions in terms video and in the cloud. You have got to defend yourself. Why?

Ian McDonough: And I will. So yes you're right. Video in the cloud is a slow and laborious expensive ugly thing. Correct. We've created the solution. So we've created where it was slow and very difficult. We have created Blackbird which is a codec uniquely designed ground up to work in the cloud.

Larry Jordan: So are you providing editing software or are you providing a better way of getting our video up to the cloud and editing it?
