Here's how to swiftly caption, subtitle, translate, and collaborate on your educational and instructional videos for posting online:

1. Import your edited videos to Simon Says (ideally without music and sound effects as they affect accuracy). Transcribe them.
2. Click Export to WYSIWYG Subtitles, our visual subtitle editor. This lets you preview how your subtitles will be formatted. You can also invite a team member on this page to collaborate with you.
3. When you're happy with it, export it to SRT subtitles, the most commonly accepted standard for subtitles. If you need another type, we most likely support them and all the options are listed in the Export menu.
4. If you are distributing your videos to audiences whose preferred language may be that which is different than the original recorded language, you will need translations. Click export and translate the video to the desired languages. When you're happy with their formatting, click export and select SRT subtitles.
