Stephanie Bauer Marshall of SPROCKIT | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2019 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: Welcome back. You know, it's interesting there was a hidden subtext between last hour show and this hour show, and the underlying thing that I want to talk about is a new organization called SPROCKIT. Stephanie Bauer Marshall is the managing director of SPROCKIT. And the reason I mentioned it is the guest that we had last hour from Stream Media, and Tru Optik, and Wicket Labs are all members of SPROCKIT. Stephanie, welcome. Good to have you with us.
Stephanie Bauer Marshall: Yes, they are. Thank you. Thank you for having me.
Larry Jordan: What is SPROCKIT?
Stephanie Bauer Marshall: SPROCKIT is a trusted market development organization that works with large media companies so people like Hearst, Fox, Univision, TechnoVerizon, Google, Samsung, Comcast and others, and what we do is we understand their pain points and we find startups that can help them solve those pain points. And then we showcase them here at NAB Show in the SPROCKIT hub in North Hall and we do a series of meetings that enable them to work together, build relationships, and get deals done that will help innovation.
Larry Jordan: OK, now let's translate that into English.
Stephanie Bauer Marshall: Sure.
