How to translate audio/video in Adobe Premiere Pro

1. Install Adobe Premiere Pro Extension

Download and install the Simon Says Extension from the Adobe Exchange (search ‘Simon Says’ in Adobe Exchange or use the download link is on SimonSays.ai) – it’s compatible with PC and Mac computers. Then launch Premiere Pro, navigate to ‘Window > Extensions > Simon Says’, and log in.

2. Transcribe audio/video

Select sequences/clips in your project bin, click on the ‘+’ button in the Simon Says extension, and then choose ‘Import’. Next, choose the original language of your project’s dialogue and click ‘Transcribe’.

3. Translate audio/video

Export to ‘Translate’ and select the languages you want to translate the media files into. Simon Says supports 100+ languages. You can also edit the transcript and add metadata, such as speaker labels, notes, and bookmarks. Simon Says will automatically sync timecodes for you too.
