Larry Jordan: Welcome back to this hour of The Digital Production BuZZ at NAB. My name is Larry Jordan. Glad to have you with us.

We're sort of wrapping up the second day of NAB but we've got a great group of guests I'm going to share with you this hour. We're starting with Janel Fleming. She is the sales manager for the sports division group part thing of LiveU, but I want to talk not just about sports but LiveU in general and, Janel, thanks for joining us today.

Janel Fleming: Thank you for having me.

Larry Jordan: For people that have heard of LiveU but couldn't pass a test on what it does, what does LiveU do?

Janel Fleming: I always like to say we're sort of a portable uplink solution, so in typical scenarios, when you needed to order a satellite truck or expensive fiber, we're that alternative and a cost-effective alternative. So we use a technology called bonded cellular to provide Internet connectivity and we also build our own encoders in small form factor portable devices that you could do a live shot from a locker room in a basketball arena, you could go to a remote facility in maybe Canada. We can do it up to 160 countries. But the idea is you find Internet and you can do a livestream from any location.
