Tobias Keuthen of Sachtler | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: And so what have you got that’s new this year. Because Vinten was saying some very strange things. I got to talk to you about.
Tobias Keuthen: Yes I have heard that and Ginny is a very well respected colleague of mine and we work very close together but, as a matter of fact, by taking the Sachtler and Vinten and also Connor are owned by the same company which is the Vitec group right? And with all those brands they bring a certain legacy. That’s shows some overlap in our product lines. But each of those brands have a certain role in our portfolio and a certain legacy.
So when we talk about the Connor this is our senior brand, a leading brand it was — the first product was sold to Walt Disney. So this defines the site already right? Vinten is more than a hundred years old. It’s a really, really, really well-known name in the broadcast industry. This defines its background while as I said has this whole news background of lightweight camera supports.
