Will Waters of Newtek | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: Before I have absolutely no time with you, anything else knew that you would need to mention?
Will Waters: We have plenty to come about something new with live graphics. Again, making it easy to use. Many people are using standard applications out of Adobe, Photoshop, After Effects. We have a whole new plug in for After Effects that allows you to do simple, easy but high quality, really professional looking motion graphics directly into the live production system.
LJ: That’s cool.
WW: Yeah, real time rendering there too, so no middleware, no specific pipeline. It’s really breaking down those barriers.
LJ: What do you like the best? What’s your favorite thing?
WW: My favorite thing is the new NDI KVM that we have, which really allows any operator — we were talking about virtualization but this brings it back to TriCasters and VMCs that you may currently have.
LJ: You have no shortage of cool stuff to talk about.
WW: It is much more where that comes from.
